We are proud to present another beneficiary of the Creative Mountains project - Art House "Moheuri Teqa".

Immerse yourself in the rich tapestry of Georgian culture and craftsmanship at Mokheuri Teqa, an enchanting art house nestled in the heart of the Kazbegi region. Led by the visionary Tamar Sujashvili, Mokheuri Teqa serves as a beacon of creativity and tradition, preserving and promoting the timeless art of felt-making.

For years, Tamar has been the driving force behind Mokheuri Teqa, serving as its creative director and master of unique talent. Alongside her dedicated team, she has dedicated herself to producing a diverse array of handicraft items from locally sourced felt, while also imparting her knowledge to the younger generation through traditional craftsmanship workshops.

At Mokheuri Teqa, visitors are treated to a feast for the senses, with Tamar's exquisite creations adorning every corner of the space. From intricately designed accessories to whimsical decorative compositions, each piece reflects Tamar's commitment to quality craftsmanship and her seamless blend of traditional and modern design elements.

Central to Tamar's work is her use of locally sourced wool, including the high-quality merino that lends her creations their unparalleled softness and durability. The art house is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities, including working and exhibition spaces where visitors can witness the creation process firsthand and marvel at the skill and dedication that goes into each piece.

But Mokheuri Teqa is more than just a workshop; it's a cultural hub where guests can immerse themselves in the rich heritage of the Kazbegi region. In addition to exploring Tamar's creations, visitors can sample a variety of local herb teas and jams, handcrafted by Tamar herself using the finest ingredients sourced from the surrounding landscape.
