We are glad to inform you about a project implemented by Kazbegi Local Action, which is co-financed by the Polish Development cooperation programme of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Poland. Programme ,,Support for Democracy’’. The name of the project is "Exploring history – developing villages in Kazbegi region"
The goal of the project is to contribute to tourism development and migration reduction in remote villages of Kazbegi municipality by raising awareness of tourism service providers and promoting new tourist destinations.
Project partner is Stowarzyszenie Korona Północnego Krakowa (The Crown of Northern Kracow Association)
The goal of the project is to contribute to tourism development and migration reduction in remote villages of Kazbegi municipality by raising awareness of tourism service providers and promoting new tourist destinations. Also, Using cultural tourism, and in particular traditional knowledge that has been orally passed for generations from person to person, to preserve cultural heritage and appeal to locals living in remote areas to develop new services in the future.
Interesting stories about the sights, legends, tales, rituals, songs, folklore and historical facts of Kazbegi were collected in the project framework, and 12 audio guides were produced on Georgian, English and Russian languages. Online map and audio guides are available free on web page (http://www.kazbegilag.ge/en) and mobile application approachable too.
